Our web host is slowlane.com which is the domain owned and maintained by Chris Stafford, founder of Full-Time Dads who hosts not only Full-Time Dads but also the Fathers' Resource Center in Minneapolis. Chris was the editor of the Fathers' Resource Center's newsletter Father Times for nearly four years and earned Father Times the distinction of receiving the Clarion Award for its quality and presentation. These two sites together provide the most extensive collection of reading material for, by and about fathers. They also maintain links to nearly all of the other web sites which are either aimed specifically at fathers or maintain fathering information. This site, created in May of 1997 is going to be the premier web site for fathers and has already added a couple smaller local organizations which add to the diversity of information available in the fathering arena. Slowlane.com is Chris' contribution to the ever-growing base of material for fathers and the continuing exposure of fathers as active, involved parents.
The Full-Time Dads site contains an electronic version of this issue as well as an "archive" of selected articles from the past issues of Full-Time Dads focusing primarily on the very early issues published by Chris Stafford. Included are selected articles from Stephen Harris' term as the second publisher of Full-Time Dads. The continuing unity of James McLoughlin, Stephen Harris and Chris Stafford is evidenced by this site which effectively displays their individual contributions to Full-Time Dads since its inception in April of 1991 and shows that while the publisher may change the intent to create the definitive parenting magazine for fathers has not changed.
Working together Chris Stafford and James McLoughlin will increase the Full-Time Dads site to meet the demands of fathers seeking information via the internet.
