Good Intention, Bad Results
For those of you who have decided to quit Smoking via the patch, Here is a clip from the NY Daily News Vital Signs: A new report in the journal Pediatrics warns you could be endangering your child's health. Up to 75% of the original nicotine can be found in used patches - enough to induce nicotine poisoning in any child who places the patch on their skin or in their mouth. Obviously, if your child has prolonged exposure to the patch, Call Your Doctor.
DAD STATS
In 1994, 94% of all fathers were in the work force, down from 95.1 in 1988. In 1993 only 3.1% of all families mirrored the tradition styled family (Working Father, at home Mom, two children). 64% of all families were dual -earner families. 10 % of all husbands in the US are the designated homemaker (up from 2% in 86). No word on whether the children might have aged during that time. -Ed
HOW MUCH?
