Father absence has been found to be a major cause of childhood poverty, and other at-risk factors. NFI provides data on the significance of fathers who remain connected to their families. This information is critical to policy makers on the federal and state levels to assure that laws promote families and responsible father behavior. Further, fathers who are separated from their families can access information on how to stay connected to their families in spite of divorce. Individuals with all sorts of interest in the topic will obtain information on just how critical fathers are to their family and to the well being of their children.
