DadsNet

DadsNet provides a list of at-home dads who want to get together. Listed below are the names and phone numbers of Full-Time Dads readers who are looking for you. Check the list: if you see someone near you, give him a call. If you don't see anyone in your area, drop us a line and we'll put your name on the list. Curtis Cooper (see list), both on his own and as a co-chair of the National At-Home Dads Association, has been doing this same thing through his organization, Dad-To-Dad. He's working with fathers all across the country in organizing dad's groups. We highly recommend giving Curtis a call. Make the connection. It'll change your life.

NEWS FROM NAHDA

The National At-Home Dads Association is getting itself together. Led by president Glen Wade (see Interview, FTD # 17), we're setting up a national network of dads-groups, and even our own Internet site. We've got a growing Resource List available, and our long-range plans include sponsoring conferences and workshops. You can get involved, either by offering resource suggestions or organizing the at-home dads in your area. There's plenty to do. For more information, or to get on our mailing list, contact Steve Harris at P.O. Box 577, Cumberland, ME 04021, or by e-mail at fulltdad@usa.pipeline.com. The more the merrier!
