This is a book to keep in the car. It's shape (long and skinny) makes it easy to tuck into the glove box, and it's practical spiral binding makes it easy to use. The learning games in it, 101 of them, will pass the time on a long drive, or waiting in a restaurant, doctors office, airport, etc. The games are simple word games, memory games and paper-pencil games that can be played almost anywhere by almost anyone. If you keep this book handy, I am certain you will wear it out. There's nothing earth-shattering in here, no parenting breakthrough, no radical philosophy. Just a bunch of games that parents and kids can play with each other. It harkens back to a time before car radios and TV, when families made their own fun. While you probably won't get your kids to unplug the TV with this book, there truly are lots of Magical Moments within it's pages. Order a copy and keep it handy.
