| 1 8-ounce container lowfat (not fat free) fruit yogurt | |
| 1 strainer lined with a coffee filter or cheesecloth | |
| 1 large bowl | |
| plastic wrap |
| 1. | Place coffee filter or cheesecloth in strainer. Put lined strainer over the bowl. | ||
| 2. | Stir yogurt, then pour into strainer. | ||
| 3. | Cover strainer with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until it becomes thick enough to spread on bread or crackers (about 12 to 20 hours). | ||
| 4. | CHILD/ PARENT STEP: |
Place spread in covered container and refrigerate. |

| 5. | Spread on toasted bagels, bread or crackers. | ||
