Ingredients:
This recipe can be done completely by the child. Parents may want to observe younger
children and assist where needed.
| 1. | Crack egg into medium bowl. Beat with hand beater until fluffy. | ||
| 2. | Measure remaining ingredients and add them to the beaten egg. Mix until the mixture is smooth. | ||
| PARENT STEP: | Add 1 to 2 TBSP of milk if you want thinner pancakes. | ||
| 3. | Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat, grease if necessary. | ||
| 4. | Pour a scant 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle or
skillet for each pancake. For fun, make letter or animal shapes*. Cook until puffy and
brown around the edges. Turn and cook on other side until golden brown. If you feel that
your child is old enough, have them assist you with turning the pancakes. * |
